Serious fun—this is where I play, where contradictions collide and new perspectives emerge.

I navigate the in-between, playing at the intersection of seriousness and fun, art and social issues, structure and spontaneity. My work primarily takes the form of interactive installations and participatory spaces, where the act of play becomes a tool for dismantling barriers between artist and audience. Through physical engagement and shared experiences, I invite participants to question their perceptions, interact with their surroundings, and uncover hidden layers of meaning.

How can play function for urban intervention? In what ways can playgrounds create alternative modes of civic engagement? How does bodily interaction in public space and art installation shift our understanding of social boundaries?

My interest in play has expanded into research on playgrounds—not just as physical structures but as conceptual and social frameworks. I explore how playgrounds can function as platforms for engagement, facilitating discussions on social issues in an approachable yet thought-provoking manner. A playground, in this sense, is more than a site for recreation; it becomes a communal space where interaction, dialogue, and reflection take place. When people engage in play, they do not just interact with the space—they become active participants in a broader conversation about society.

My practice-based research sits at the intersection of public space, social engagement, and play, exploring how playgrounds can function as more than recreational sites—how they can become platforms for dialogue, community-building, and social intervention.

I would like to explore playgrounds as a socio-political medium, investigating how they can be strategically designed as public spaces for open dialogue, shared narratives, and participatory engagement.

I seek to challenge rigid identities, provoke curiosity, and create moments of both introspective calm and outgoing lightness. I remain committed to exploring the potential of play in fostering connection, questioning norms, and reimagining our shared spaces. The research continues, and so does the play.
